RPM Motor Work Station
|
RPM's clever motor Work Station provides stable motor clamping both horizontally and vertically and also allows for drive motor break-in's which can give your motor added performance compared to common break-in methods.
Using one clamp mounted in the base, the Work Station can hold a motor horizontally for such things as solder connection, or a fan type break in and cooling. It then quickly converts to the vertical positions for brush maintenance, solder connections, or cleaning.
The second clamp allows bench mechanics to do opposed motor break-in's where a drive motor is positioned opposite a new motor and then joined together via the coupling tube. By using a drive motor, a motor can be conditioned without generating heat or arcing of the brushes.
